Do you recommend Stationary or Spring-loaded Probes?

Our experience indicates that the spring function often fails to preserve the probe tip, resulting in a significant margin of error. Despite the perceived assurance that the tip won't break upon mishandling, our data suggests otherwise, with a considerable percentage ending up bent or broken during usage.

Moreover, incorporating spring-loaded probes introduces an unnecessary element of uncertainty, particularly during automation processes. Checking the probe tip before each use becomes redundant, as the spring mechanism may compromise the integrity of the tip upon any accidental contact. This not only disrupts workflow but also increases the likelihood of errors.

Given these concerns, we strongly advise using stationary probes. Our preference lies in emphasizing precision and error-free techniques, especially in critical operations where accuracy is paramount.
