Do Maxx-ER centering plates need grounding?

Our centering plates come with their feet ungrounded to better the final assembly's tolerance. That is why, once installed, they must be ground to specification 11.20 +0.01 / -0.05 mm and a flatness of 0.001.

To prevent any breakage, it is crucial to ensure that the torque is properly applied to each screw so that it rests on the plate without putting stress on the thread. Additionally, avoid applying excessive downward Z force and ensure that the feet are correctly ground to maintain the correct distance between the workpiece base and the feet base to prevent excessive force.
